Pickleheads Community Guidelines

Welcome to Pickleheads! We are dedicated to fostering a positive, respectful, and safe environment for all our users. To ensure that everyone can enjoy our platform, we have established the following guidelines. By using Pickleheads, you agree to abide by these rules.

1. Respect and Decency

We expect all users to treat each other with respect and basic decency. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • No harassment, bullying, or intimidation.
  • No hate speech, discrimination, or offensive language.
  • No sharing of explicit content or inappropriate material.

2. Muting Other Users

If you encounter someone who is violating these guidelines or simply wish to avoid interacting with them, you can use the "Mute User" feature to ignore their messages. This feature is currently available only on the mobile app.

To mute a user:

  • Tap on the user’s avatar.
  • Select "Mute User" from the options.

Once muted, this user’s messages will no longer appear in your chat.

3. Reporting Inappropriate Behavior

Our moderation team is committed to addressing any issues that arise within our community. If you come across a message that you believe violates our guidelines, please use the "Flag Message" feature:

  • On the app: Long press the message you wish to flag.
  • On desktop: Click the dot menu next to the message and select "Flag Message".

Flagging a message is the most effective way to bring it to our attention. Once flagged, our moderation team will review the content and take appropriate action.

4. Spam and Unwanted Behavior

Spam and unwanted behavior are not tolerated on Pickleheads. If an account is found to be spamming or engaging in disruptive activities, we may disable the chat feature for that account or ban the account entirely.

5. Consequences of Violations

Violating these guidelines can result in the following actions:

  • Warning: A warning will be issued for minor infractions.
  • Temporary Ban: Users may be temporarily banned from chat or from the platform for repeated or severe violations.
  • Permanent Ban: In cases of extreme or repeated misconduct, users may be permanently banned from Pickleheads.

6. Contacting Support

If you have any questions, need clarification, or want to report an issue directly, please email us at support@pickleheads.com. Our support team is here to help and will respond as quickly as possible.

7. Updates to Guidelines

These guidelines may be updated from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes, and continued use of Pickleheads after such changes implies acceptance of the revised guidelines.

Thank you for being a part of the Pickleheads community. Let's work together to create a positive and enjoyable space for everyone!
